In my last video I dealt with the idea of fitting into society and finding a place for me within it that feels comfortable and right. The way of working and the idea that is connected to it was very interesting to me and I tried to imply my experiences with the last project in the new one. This is why I chose to show my point of view and the point of view that I allow others to have of me. The photography class did the project about the people who died in the war in Cambodia, which also inspired me. I used their transparencies as masks that make it possible to take over a new personality, at least for the viewer. You can still see me, but because of the print on the transparencies I look different. This video therefore offers a point of view that other people get of me. It is basically about myself and how one, in this instance me, hides behind different masks. Some of these masks are more transparent while others show more of me, depending who is looking at it.
