My project was supposed to convey the contradicting, stereotypical ideas behind beauty. When asked about beauty most people will give the answer they think is expected: what's on the inside. However, many people secretly feel that beauty still is in outward appearance, mainly because a part of it is. But when that is all one has, it won't make them happy, shown by the continued, permanent frown on the girl who has make-up on, and followed by the question "...so what's the real point?" If make-up and other "beauty" projects don't make us any happier, then why do we spend so much money and time on them?
